1)
Speak with any Gate Guard to initiate the Mission.
2)
Head to the Heaven’s Tower and speak with Star Sybil.
3)
If you want the map of Castle Zvahl, you have to speak with
Radeivepart in Ru’Lude Gardens (H-9) and complete the Quest “Northward.”
4)
Now head to Castle Zvahl (directly west of the Vazhl crystal in
Xarcabard).
5)
After entering the Castle, head West.
6)
You will wind around until you get to an intersection.
7)
At the intersection, turn left.
8)
Follow it around until you get to the teleport, and enter it.
9)
Head West and enter Zvahl Keep.
10)
Go North and wind your way through the maze, the map gives you the
way out, which I’ve included at the bottom of this walkthrough.

Once you get to next section, exit out the West (again map will
show you where to go).
12)
On this map, you will have to navigate through a series of
Teleports:
1.
Start by going into the west one.
2.
Then head south and enter that teleport.
3.
Then head west and enter that telelport.
4.
Then head north and enter that teleport.

Once through the last teleport, head north or south and then west.
14)
Enter the Throne Room.
15)
There are no mobs in here, so go ahead and buff and rest up.
16)
Once you’re ready, stand in front of the door and watch the
cutscene.
17)
Fight the Shadow Lord.
1.
Before engaging, cast your buffs and prepare for the fight.
2.
Once you’re ready, have a DD attract the attention.
3.
The DD (only the main one) can two hour here, to try and do more
damage.
4.
Once the Shadow Lord uses invincible, the DD will be doing 0 dmg.
5.
At this point, the mages should start in casting their spells.
6.
Use the most powerful spells you have, and also use Yag drinks to
keep it up. Blm should two hour to do more damage.
7.
Once Invincible wears, mages rest and the DD continue hitting.

After the Shadow Lord is beaten, you will see another cutscene.

Everyone should use Sneak and Silent Oils at this point.

Rest up.
21)
Fight the 2nd Form of the Shadow Lord
1.
Everyone come in close to the Shadow Lord.
2.
He has an AOE attack, so mages should cast Curaga.
3.
All DD’s use their two hours and WS whenever you can – don’t worry
about a Renkei.
4.
He should die pretty quickly.
22)
Once he is defeated, watch the cutscene.
23)
Then head back to the Castle and speak with Halver.
