1) When your group is ready, examine the blank target
next to the Runic Portal
in the Nyzul Isle Staging Point
2) Once
you've accepted the Assault, you can't do another Assault until this
Mission is beat
3) Head to
the Runic Seal (I-9) and examine it, to enter the Assault
4) You'll
spawn in the same place as Naja - she must be kept alive, or you fail the
Mission - the time
limit is 30 minutes
5) Amnaf
is in the first room, when you aggro her 4 Imperial Gears will spawn
A) Amnaf is slept fairly easily
B) The gears can be slept, but they tend to resist it
allot
C) Lullaby spells seem to work better on the gears
D) It's best to focus on the gears, while someone either
kites or sleeps Amnaf
E) Keep spread apart, as the gears use AoEs
F) As long as someone watches Naja's health, she can
take a gear solo
G) When Amnaf hits 50% health, she will warp into the
next room, but will not loose any
of the DoTs on her
H) Naja will chase after her, but will stop before
reaching Amnaf, so you can rest
6) When
ready, enter the second room
A) When you get close to Amnaf, 4 more Gears will spawn
B) These can be slept a little easier
C) Best to use the same strategy you did in the first
room
D) When Amnaf's hp is low, she will warp to the third
room and Naja will chase
7) When
you enter the third room, Amnaf will turn into a Soulflayer and her health
will be restored to 100%
A) She is highly resistant to elemental magic
B) When she has Immortal Shield up, she is 100%
resistant to elemental magic
C) She isn't immuned to DoTs, though
D) She also has high physical defense
8) Once
Amnaf is defeated, the Assault is over
9) An
extra note from FFXIclopedia - Blue Mages can learn Mind Blast from last
fight
10) Another note - you
do not loose xp from dying. |
