Walkthrough

 

1)      You will be heading out to a level 40 capped area.

2)      Only a party of 6 can fight the mob (No alliance).

3)      Head back out to Misareaux Coast.

4)      Go to the Dilapidated Gate (F-7) and watch the cutscene.

5)      Now you’ll warp through the Spatial Displacement to Riverne Site A01.

6)      You will only need Invisible for the whole run – but make sure to bring prisms because there are clusters which aggro to magic.

7)      The Hippoglyphs have True Site, so be careful around them.

8)      To get through this area, you just have to go through the Spatial Gates at each end of the islands.

9)      However, two of the gates are too small to fit through.

10)  You will need to kill Firedrake Wyverns – spawn around (H-9) – (J-9) – for a Huge Dragon Scale (you will need 2 per party).

11)  The first Gate is at (L-8).

12)  You will warp to the area with the Wyverns.

13)  At (G-10) trade one of the scales to the Gate and you’ll warp to the 3rd island.

14)  This island is full of Atomic Clusters which aggro to site and magic, so use Prisms in this area.

15)  At (E-10), trade another scale to the Gate and get warped to the 4th island.

16)  The last island is full of IT++ mobs that have true site.

17)  Walk along the right edge to reach the last displacement.

18)  You will be warped into Monarch Linn where you can rest and prepare for the battle.

19)  When ready enter the battlefield and watch the cutscene.

20)  Whms should cast reraise at this point and everyone else use an earring or scroll.

21)  Kill the 3 Mamet-19-Epsilons.

1.      This is a level 40 capped fight.

2.      When you enter, cast your buffs and reraises

3.      Two members of the party need to kite the left and right Epsilon around while the rest of the party pulls the center one back into the tunnel.

4.      Don’t bother casting any enfeebles, except for bind and gravity.

5.      Whm needs to keep the epsilon silenced.

6.      They have two attacks which can absorb physical and magical attacks.

7.      They will also change jobs, so watch what weapon they are holding to know the job type.

8.      The War and Blm job are strong while the Drg job is pretty weak.

9.      Bring some Yellow Liquid along to prevent the Epislon from changing jobs (try and use it on him when he’s a Drg).

10.  Also bring allot of Hi-Potions, Hi-Ethers, Yagudo Drinks, and Yellow Liquid.

11.  When the center one is dead, the group can move out and grab one of the kited ones and move it back into the tunnel if possible.

12.  Once that one is dead, everyone can converge onto the last one.

13.  If you are a Summoner, be very careful when kiting these things, you don’t really have enough room to do so…here is what I did:

1.      Bring lots of Yag drinks, you might need them

2.      When you run out you will see the three Mammets, send Carbie after the right one, the group will take the center and hopefully you have a Bst that can kite the left one.

3.      Carbie will most likely attack the Mammet while it is near the center of the battlefield…try to wait a second or two before Assaulting to bring it back closer to you (this requires you to get initial hate, so you may not want to wait)

4.      Run to the very back of the battlefield, behind the 3 rocks (this forces the Mammet to take a little longer to get to you)

5.      Summon a spirit once Carbie is dead, this gives you enough time to summon and for it to get aggro back behind the rocks

6.      Now run near the tunnel and summon Carbie once spirit dies.

7.      Run back behind the rocks and summon a spirit – it’s wise to alternate between the 2 so you don’t get a that spell isn’t ready yet message

8.      Continue alternating between the 2 until the group can get your Mammet off of you

22)  Once they are defeated, the Mission is over.
