A Guide to Leveling

Most of the info included in this guide came from Saleen of Caitsith.  Other info came from the Orestes Linkshell of Caitsith.

 

Level Range

Zone

Mobs

Camp

1-10

Any Zone close to one of the 3 Major Cities

Start with the fauna and rabbits/hares.  Move on to Beastmen and harder Mobs

Start close to the City.  As you level, you will find yourself moving away from the city.

10-13

Valkrum Dunes

Hill Lizards

Take on the Lizards close to Konschtat Highlands Zone.

10-12

Maze of Shakhrami

Maze Maker

Start with the Maze Makers in the first large room and then move to the next room.

Goblin Ambusher

Goblin Butcher

Goblin Tinkerer

These can be found in the second large room.

The Goblins can be found at zone close to Konschtat while the Snippers are near Siren Sands Beach (I-9)

Stay around Siren Beach and kill the flies there.  There is also a good camp at (I-7).

Fight the Pugils on Whitebone Sands Beach.

The Goblins can be found anywhere West of the Outpost.

Diving Beetles

Camp at (G-8).  There are few beetles here and link, so make sure the party is experienced.

Camp around the pond at (H-7) but be careful at night for the undead come out to play.

Camp around Delkfutt’s Tower. At 22 you should be ready to kill Pugils as well.

At first take Mandragoras, then closer to 27 you can being to take Goblin Smithys.  Camp near the zone to Kazham.

Goblin Smithy

For the first few levels, take the Mandragoras, then after 30 you can add in the Goblin Smithys if experience tends to slow down.  Camp near the zone to Yuhtunga Jungle, or in any of the caves where the Goblins do not wander.

Borer Beetle

First few levels, take Seige Bats, then move on to Beetles.  Camp near the zone to Sauramuge Champaign or near the first Banishing Gate.

Crawler’s Nest

Worker Crawler

Take Worker Crawlers.  The crawlers closest to the zone to Rolanbeerry fields are weaker then the ones further in.  Various camps around the Sack room at (I-9).

Nest Beetle

Beetles in the back of the first map.  They are past the saplings in the room at F-9 to G-9.  Camp at G-9.  Be careful of AOE spells and abilities, the saplings sit in the camp.

Fight bats, flys, and gobs nearest the zone to Valkurm Dunes.

Scorpions

Begin by taking Soldier Crawlers, then move on to Beetles, Exorays, and Scorpions from the large room.  Camp in the secret room at J-8 to K-8.

Rumble Crawler

Take the Rumble Crawlers at G-9, camp at F-9.  Can also take Beetles, Exorays, and Scorps to keep the chain going.  Be careful of the Rumble Crawler that spawns in the hallway where you camp.

Helm Beetle

Take the Beetles in the back behind the Rumble Crawlers.  Same camp as Rumble Crawlers.  Again watch out for the Rumble Crawler that spawns in the hallway.

Begin by taking Bats in the basement, then move on to Beetles.  Camp near the stairs in the basement, or in the hallway at H-8.  Be careful of the elementals that wander the area, and also for the NM Serket that spawns there.  DO NOT camp near the dancing weapons hallway.  They aggro to magic from very far.

Bark Spiders

Take Bark Spiders and camp in the first open room you come to. Fungaars don't aggro but they DO link. Also take note of Sickle Slash, must keep tanks HP close to full as you can.

Robber Crab

Take the Robber Crabs.  Camp at I-8 on the first map, H-3 (near the Cape Terrigan zone), or at J-9 (be careful of Guivre spawning - NM Wyvern).

King Ranperre’s Tomb

Dire Bats

Enter through the grave in the open area that takes you underground. Camp at the entrance. Take Dire Bats. Worms do not aggro, but link so be careful. Bats aggro and link.

Boyahda Tree

Robber Crab

Take Robber Crabs in the first waterfall room at H-9.  Camp on the platforms at I-9 and G-9.  Be careful of the elemental that spawns during the weather conditions.  Stay away from the Knight Crawlers.

Goblins

Take Robber Crabs and various goblins at H-9.  Camps include H-10 and H-9 in the hallways.  Be careful of the undead at camp H-9 behind the hallway.  Also be careful of the NM Goblin that spawns near there.

Take Velociraptors near the Valley of Sorrows zone at I-9.

Greater Birds

Take Velociraptors and the Greater Birds.  Camp near the Cape Terrigan zone.  Careful of the Adamantoise that spawns in the area.

Toramas

Take the Toramas at G-6 through H-5.  Camp in the hallway at H-6.  Careful of the Torama NM, Ose that spawns in the hallway or near there.  Also, if you camp in the south hallway, be careful of the elementals.

Cockatrices

Take the Cockatrices at H-7.  Camp near the mountain.  Be careful of the bomb that spawns during fog weather and the gob that spawns regularly.

Steelshell

Take the Steelshells in the big room with the Goobues.  Camp at the waterfall at H-11.  Be careful of the elemental that spawns in the area.

65-67

Den of Rancor

Lizards

Enter Den of Rancor through the north entrance of Yhoator Jungle, near the pond. Camp at the zone and kill Lizards. They do not Aggro but the do link. Stay away from mandys and monkeys and watch out for holes you can fall into.

Take the Goobues in the same room as the Steelshells.  Camp at the waterfall again, or camp at F-6 near the hallway.  Be careful of the mandys that wander the area.  They aggro to sneak.

Hobgoblins

Start by taking the lower level Hobgoblins at F-9.  Can also camp at F-10 but be careful of the Hobgoblin Alastor which is a bit higher then the other hobgoblins.  At 64, begin taking the higher level hobgoblins such as Alastors and Physicians.  Another camp can be G-11 at 64.  DO NOT take the Blaggers.

Kill spiders and flies. You can camp at the zone to Boyahda Tree at (G-8) in the south nook, or in the big room at (I-8) to (J-7). Fafnir and Nidhogg can spawn in the big room so be careful. Spiders aggro and link, flies only link.

Hobgoblin Blaggers

Take the Dhamels to start with.  Camp at F-9 to G-9 where the Dhalmels spawn.  At 70, can add in the Hobgoblin Blaggers to keep the chain going.

Weapons

Golems

Kill Weapons and Golems past the Moon Gate. At least one person must have a moon pass to enter.  Camp is unknown at this time.

King Ranperre's Tomb

Spartoi Sorcers

Kill Spartoi Sorcers at (F-8) to (E-8). Camp is unknown. It is said that you have no actual camp but have to move to the mobs as they spawn.

Hobgoblin Angler

Take the Hobgoblin Anglers on the cliff at G-10.  Camp in the cave at the bottom of the cliff.
